Driftwood Art

It all started out of a need to mount my water colours onto something other than in a traditional frame, then one day during a walk on the beach, I picked up a bit of driftwood and I havn't looked back since.

I find the majority of my driftwood and any other flotsam and jetsam on the beautiful beaches where I live, it is then scrubbed clean and left to dry till it is ready to take it's place amongst the other piles, bags and boxes of wood in my studio.
